In addition to funding programs that reinforce the quality of your student's education, parents may also choose to support the Parents' Council in other important areas, such as volunteering at New Student Orientation, serving as a committee member for Parents' Weekend, or assisting with other special events.

These activities provide parents opportunities to:

• Make important decisions about Parents' Council activities
• Share ideas and concerns of sending a child away to college
• Spend time with sons and daughters in a collegiate setting
• Network with other A&M-Corpus Christi parents and students
