Momentum

Dignitaries from throughout the state joined A&M-Corpus Christi President Robert R. Furgason on Nov. 11, 2003, to dedicate the new statue and sign that adorn the campus entrance. The Momentum sculpture, donated by philanthropists Shirley and Dusty Durrill and designed by Philadelphia artist Robert Roesch, features a stainless steel fan measuring 35 feet wide and five 42-foot-tall stainless steel spires. All sit atop a 300-foot-long wall with the words Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in white letters.
