The coming Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico
Studies building will be home to scientists and researchers interested
in conserving one of the world’s richest marine habitats. The
Harte Research Institute Advisory Council met in Washington D.C. in
April 2003 to discuss plans for the Institute and to shore up ideas
for the “State of Knowledge” Gulf of Mexico Conference,
scheduled in Corpus Christi Oct. 14-16, 2003, and the next “State
of the Gulf of Mexico” Symposium.
