L. Charles Billings (1955) lives in Canyon Lake, Texas, with his wife, Peggy. He is retired from Sandero Oil Co. Charles served two years (94-96) as president general of The Sons of the Republic of Texas and received their highest award, Knight of the Order of San Jacinto. He was a candidate for Comal County Judge in 1989, was recently named as an Honorary Texas Ranger, awarded the Republican Presidential Legion of Merit and had a speech he wrote on Col. William B. Travis read into the Congressional Record by Sen. Strom Thurmond of South Carolina.

Dr. James W. Einkuf (1956) lives in San Antonio and is retired from the CIA, WSC and DHR. He obtained a second doctorate in theology. He asks other Texas A&M University Corpus Christi students, past and present, to write him at: 127 Maurine Dr., San Antonio, Texas 78283.

Gordon R. Gilmore (1957) lives in Bakersfield, Calif., with his wife, Donna. He is a retired petroleum engineer. Currently he is the owner of commercial and residential real estate and does volunteer work with the local school district.

Anson R. Nash Jr. (1963) lives in Corpus Christi and retired from the Corpus Christi ISD in June 1997 after 34 years as a teacher and principal. He is presently an adjunct professor in the College of Education at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, director of education at Lexington Baptist Church and counselor for New Hope Financial Fitness Centers Inc., a non-profit, debt counseling organization.

Wayne Baylor (1965) lives in Llano, Texas, with his wife, Pat. He retired in 1995 after 29 years of service with AMOCO.

Susan S. Lane (1973) lives in Whitney, Texas, after working many years in Arizona as a case manager. She said, "Currently, I'm on a library board and retired, but busy."

Ginger P. Henry (1975) lives in Victoria, Texas, and is a princicpal at Stanley Elementary Mentor School in Victoria. She obtained her master of education from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 1982.

Deborah J. Ritter (1976) lives in Marshall, Texas, and is a claims adjuster for Farmer Insurance.

Louise Stanford (1977) lives in Oklahoma City, Okla., and is the production administrator, booking agent and stage manager for Act One Drama Ministries. She said, “We are based out of Oklahoma City, however we tour throughout the United States.”'

Linda Greenwell (1978) lives in Bedford, Texas, and has been teaching in the Keller ISD for 17 years in the social studies and English departments.

80s

J. Keith Gary (1980) lives in Sherman, Texas. He retired as a U.S. Marshall for East Texas and was elected sheriff of Grayson County in 1996. He said, “I proudly stated in my campaign literature that I received my graduate criminal justice training at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.”

Lawrence F. King (1981) lives in Austin, Texas. He also obtained his master of arts from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 1983. He said, “I miss seeing reports on students from years past.”

Clement P. Williams (1986) lives in Peoria, Ariz., and is an underwriting manager for Wells Fargo.

Ollie O. “Rusty” Barrier (1986) lives in Denver, Colo., and recently published a humor book titled, “31 Days To Ruin Your Relationship.” He co-authored the book with his significant other, Tricia Semour. Lori L. McIrvin (Evancho) (1986) lives in Columbus, Miss., with her husband, James. She was recently selected for promotion to major in the U.S. Air Force Nurse Corps. She is stationed at Columbus Air Force Base where she is director of clinical support services. Also, Lori is working on her MSN degree through Graceland College outreach.

John K. Perkins (1987) lives in Huntsville, Ala., and works for the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command at the Redstone Arsenal where he is a Logistics Managment Specialist.

Keith R. “Hap” Nielsen (1987) lives Waco, Texas, and is an investment broker for Paine Webber.

Charles H. Smith Jr. (1988) lives in Frisco, Texas, and works for MCI in Multimedia Services Engineering in Dallas. He is working toward his master's degree in telecommunications.

Ronald L. Dow (1988) recently moved to Corcoran, Calif., where he is the Equipment Department Accountant for J.G. Boswell, a large cotton growing and processing firm in the San Joaquin Valley.

Marianne Robert (1988) lives in Corpus Christi, and is vice president and director of grants for the Ed Rachal Foundation and a speech-language pathologist for the Corpus Christi ISD.

90s

Hazel Fipps-Mann (1993) lives in Corpus Christi and is museum educator and education office director at the John E. Conner Museum at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. She noted, “I am working with the University and K-12 schools developing programs.” She is also coordinator of the Coastal Bend Regional History Fair.

Esther Ortiz (1994) lives in Glendale, N.Y., and is currently teaching in the Brooklyn public school system.

Byron Sutherland (1994) lives in Boulder, Colo., and is a doctoral student at Colorado University at Boulder. Byron is also an associate instructor of Suzuki piano at Boulder Arts Academy.

Priscilla Ramirez (1997) lives in Corpus Christi and is currently a management trainee with Enterprise Rent-A-Car “thanks to the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Career Planning and Placement Center.”
