Gloria and Robert R. Furgason Bravo Series

Mark your calendars for the Gloria and Robert R. Furgason Bravo! Series for the Performing Arts performances beginning in September. Tickets will be on sale soon for this exciting series which played to sold-out audiences last year. 

2007-2008 Furgason Bravo! Series
		Wednesday, Sept. 19 America’s Premier Doo-Wop Group, The Alley Cats will perform a benefit concert for the new Bravo! Kids Concert Series which was given startup funding this year by the Coastal Bend Community Foundation. All proceeds from the benefit concert will go to fund next year’s Bravo! Kids concert series.
		Tuesday, Dec. 4 Musician, songwriter and Western poet Michael Martin Murphey will ring in the holiday season when he brings his “annual “Cowboy Christmas Concert” to Performing Arts Center. The show will once again be preceded by Islander Lights celebration.
		Tuesday, Feb 12 Celebrate America with the world famous Glenn Miller Orchestra as they present “In a Patriotic Mood,” a night of unforgettable music from the Big Band era.
		Saturday, April 5 Join one of America’s premier comedy touring groups for “The Best of the Second City: One Nation Under Blog,” an irreverent look at the world of politics, entertainment and the media.
