Four-legged Friends Go Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Four-legged friends and their owners took a scenic stroll down the University’s hike-and-bike trail to raise awareness of breast cancers during the 'Paws for a Cause' dog walk Friday, Oct. 10. There were prizes for the “Pinkest Pooch” and the “Pinkest Pair” (dog and owner) with the $5 entry benefiting First Friday, a non-profit organization that underwrites free mammograms for uninsured and underinsured South Texas women.
