Islander basketball player Will Bullard visits CJ Elizondo after surgery at Driscoll Children’s Hospital.

Fresh off his second-place finish in the State Farm College Slam Dunk Championships, Islander basketball player Will Bullard visited CJ Elizondo at Driscoll Children's Hospital in early April.  CJ had just been released from surgery about an hour prior to the visit and was thrilled to see his favorite Islander basketball player. CJ, who plays basketball and football, took advantage of Will’s experience to ask about his training schedule. Will shared tips on how to jump higher, stating, "It's all in the core." He added that CJ needed to maintain good eating habits as well. Will's main message for CJ was to stay positive, explaining, “you can get anywhere if you keep negativity out of your life.”
